Wedding Info

The wedding is on sat 24th July in Przemysl. You can fly to Rzeszow airport with Ryanair on Fri (23rd), and take a coach which we will arrange for you. The venue for the wedding is about 1hour 20 minutes drive from the airport. If you prefer, you could take the Saturday flight which arrives at 11.20 am and you should arrive in Przemysl by 1pm for the wedding at 2pm (we will organise a coach for those travelling on Saturday as well). Flights are already on sale on the Ryanair site. Alternatively you can fly to Krakow, but the train takes approx four hours to Przemysl. The wedding service will take place at the cathedral in Przemysl and the reception is just down the road at Krasiczyn castle, with the hotel at the same site. Hotel Info

The reception will be held at Krasiczyn, with the hotel on the same grounds. Rooms are priced at 100 polish zloty per person per night. This is roughly 22 pounds a head per night. To book a room, please email us chrisandewa@hotmail.co.uk . Just let us know the number of people and for how many nights, and we will confirm the room with the hotel.

What to do

Przemysl is a pretty town, with a lovely centre. If you have a few hours spare, have a wander around the main square. Here you can sample some of Przemysl's famous ice cream, take a look at the castle, or just hang out in one of the brasseries on the main square and watch the world go by. It is only 5 minutes away from the hotel by cab, and is worth a trip.

Flight info

There are various flight options, but the nearest city with an air connection is Rzeszow, which is approximately 1hr20 min from Przemysl. Krakow is a little further, approximately 3hr30mins by train from the wedding, let us know if you would prefer to fly there so Ewa can give you more details about your onward journey. Ryanair have flights to Rzeszow on the 23rd and 24th, check availability here. If you fly to Rzeszow, we will provide a coach to take you to the hotel in Przemysl, which should make your journey a lot easier. Just let us know which flight you are on. For the return journey we will organise a coach to take guests back to Rzeszow for the Sunday evening flight back to Stansted.

Bus Info

We will provide transport to pick you up from Rzeszow airport on either Friday or Saturday depending on your flight, and back to the airport for the Sunday evening flight. The driver's name is Grzegorz Brzeczyszczykiewicz, he will be happy to help with anything unless you get his name wrong. He can be touchy, but rarely violent.

Mountains

After the wedding we will be going to spend some time in log cabins in the mountains just south of Przemysl. We would be delighted if you would like to come too, you can expect beautiful scenery with a lovely lake for swimming and boating, and a peaceful mountain range with some great walks. Have a look at our photos from 2008 and let us know if you fancy coming along, it is roughly ten pounds per person per night, and we will be there for a week.
